Women's day is not a day for celebration, to get spa discounts, various offers, get together,no cooking day, women's day out and so on.
Today all restaurants around were flooded with women groups celebrating just being women.
This day serves as a reminder to recognise and cherish women's agency and autonomy, to make society safer, and to eradicate prejudice and discrimination, particularly against women. People are busy getting ready for the celebration, but most are unaware of the significance of March 8th as International Women's Day. Independent women... We call ourself independent we manage all the house chores, office work, children all alone. We call our self multitasking. We are independent, we can drive, scooters, car and planes. We manage kids, our in laws kids also. We can manage office, kitchens and school studies. We are a maid, a teacher, doctor, judge, pilot and the president of the country too. So are men.
We are magicians who can recreate, a sperm into human being. We can ooze out a baby of us. We are the responsible for recreation.
Are we responsible towards ourself
We come across lot of women in the court of law, where they are blank when it comes to family financies and property.
They always depend on father husband brother son for their finances thou they are working. They just earn and have saving account.
They are not aware if the family has life insurance, mediclaim policies? They are not aware of the familys assets, and proerties. They are not aware of the finacea and investments.
Worst case they do not know the Atm PIN also.
The answer to this is it's always distributed, women take care of household and men take care of finances. This women are the women who earn, who are at good position in corporate.
On this womens day i really wish if you are women you get a awareness check, of u are a man give the women around you awareness check.
If you are a women you should know about the investments, finances, the bank and policy nominations. If you have any property or assest you should. Know about wereabouts. If you have a land or a plot you should know the documents, know the dimensions of the plot. You should know what crop your field yields, how do u sell it.
Know about your bank accounts, lockers shares, funds.
If you are men give her the details make her independant to know about the finances and give her strength. Wearing jeans instead of saree. Riding bikes, having bodylanguage like men, holdings mens positions in corporates doesn't make women independant. Struggling for reservation seat. is not independant and strong. Giving your seat to. Needy or old aged person is being independant.
Be strong enough to pick yourself up when someone knocks you down.
